Photo Recovery Wizard | Screenshots

Quick Guide and Screenshots
When you click the Photo Recovery Wizard, the first screen you will see is the splash screen, to let you know the software is loading, and looking for any attached cameras, printers or other devices with memory cards attached.
Once all the drives have been found, the window above will appear.

Any removable devices will be shown to the top right of this window, if your camera is not found at this point, make sure it is attached to your PC (and turned on!) then click the 'Re-Scan drive list' button.

Clicking the 'Continue' button will progress to the next screen.
Using this window, you can select the formats you would like to recover from your card.

We are adding new formats all the time, so the screenshot above may not list all the formats you can recover.

Click 'Continue' again and you will get the next screen.
On this screen you can select the location the recovered files will be saved to.

This folder should ideally not be on the same drive as the one you are recovering the photos from. The reason for this is simple - if you save data to the same drive, you run the risk of overwriting original data, so fewer photos may be recovered. Selecting a different folder, such as one on your main Pcs hard drive keeps all the data on your memory card intact, so you can recover as many photos as possible.

Finally, click the 'Start' button to start the recovery.
